Oita Prefecture Traveler Survey

Every month, 15 respondents will be selected by lottery to receive a JPY 3,000 gift.

Residents of Japan will receive a JPY 3,000 online catalog gift, allowing them to choose from a carefully selected range of products featured on the official Oita Prefecture "Onsen Ken Oita Online Shop." Residents overseas will receive a JPY 3,000 digital gift that can be used in their country of residence.

Application Guidelines

Period
March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027 (tentative)

Eligibility
Anyone who has completed this survey is eligible (regardless of nationality or age). Minors must obtain consent from a parent or guardian before participating.
Regarding the Number of Wins
Each email address is limited to one win per month. You will be eligible for the lottery again in subsequent months.
Lottery & Notification Period
The lottery will be held in the beginning of the month following your response, and winners will be notified by email by the middle of that month.
Distribution Method
Winners will be sent a URL to receive their digital gift to the email address provided at the time of the survey response.
*An internet connection is required to receive the gift.
Gift Value
All gift values are set in Japanese Yen (JPY). For participants from overseas, the same amount will be provided based on JPY, but the foreign currency amount received may fluctuate due to exchange rate changes.
Important Notes
  • The online catalog gift for residents of Japan is valid for six months from the date of receipt. Digital gifts for residents overseas also have their own expiration dates. Please note that we cannot reissue, refund, or provide substitutions for gifts that are not used within the valid period.
  • The announcement of winners will be substituted by the sending of the gifts.
  • The gift notification email may not be delivered due to an incorrect email address or email filter settings. Please be sure to allow emails from "travelersurvey@we-love-oita.or.jp".
  • Please enjoy the prize for personal use only. Use for commercial purposes, such as transfer or resale, is prohibited.
  • This campaign is subject to change or termination without notice.
Handling of Personal Information
  • In addition to notifying winners and shipping prizes, the personal information collected may be used for purposes such as sending informational emails from Tourism Oita. For details, please see here.
  • The collected survey data will be anonymized and provided as open data accessible to the general public.

  • We are not responsible for cases where winner notifications or gifts cannot be received due to applicant-related issues such as communication environment, device malfunction, or email filter settings.
  • This campaign may be interrupted, suspended, or changed due to natural disasters, system failures, or other unavoidable circumstances. We are not liable for any damages that may occur as a result.
Regarding Taxes
The received gift may be subject to taxation according to the laws of your country of residence. If a tax return is necessary, it is the winner's responsibility to complete the procedures.
